Unblock files in Exchange:  Antivirus & Spam should block bad files not Exchange.  Help!!!
Hi,According to what I have found exchange blocks numerous files types by default. My users need to conduct business and it consists of sending .CMD, .BAT, .EXE and/or .LNK files through email to and from trusted sites. We want our Anti-virus and spam filter to do it's job and block the bad ones. So short of replacing exchange with Dominio, how do we fix this problem with Exchange?Thanks,TrishP.S. Use the Get-AttachmentFilterEntry cmdlet to view a list of attachments you're currently filtering. To remove an attachment filter entry use the Remove-AttachmentFilterEntry. For example, to remove the *.EXE attachment filter entry, use the following command: Remove-AttachmentFilterEntry Filename:*.EXE Repeat for each attachment extension you no longer want to filter. However, be sure you have a robust anti-virus application to help protect you from viruses, worms, etc. By removing filtering for these attachment extensions, you remove the ability for Exchange to help protect you from viruses that may not be caught by anti-virus programs. I suggest you also read the topics located here: http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/aa996604.aspx. This will give you a good understanding of the anti-virus and antispam features available in Exchange 2007.

David,Thank you so much. What about making trusted domains in Exchange? Is that done at the Primary Domain Server or at the Exchange Server. Thanks Again,Trish

I have the same issue. However, when I run the Exchange Management Shell, it doesn't recognizeGet-AttachmentFilterEntry or Remove-AttachementFilterEntry as valid cmdlets.....
